Senior UX/UI Designer


Aquiris is looking for an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join the Porto Alegre team. You'll work directly with the product, art and programming teams to integrate visual elements and great experiences into the Looney Tunes World of Mayhem game.


  • Develop complex interfaces for games;
  • Creating visual identities and concepts, producing a consistent unity;
  • Creating wireframes using prototyping tools;
  • Justifying, when needed, the design decisions with technical knowledge.


  • Solid professional experience with UI Design;
  • Mastery of prototyping tools (, Lucid Chart, InVision, Justinmind, Axure, Marvel App etc);
  • Online Portfolio that demonstrates knowledge of visual design and usability;
  • Solid knowledge in interaction design, usability and visual design;
  • Solid knowledge in mobile games (iOS and Android), in free-to-play model
  • Solid knowledge in graphic editing softwares (Photoshop, Illustrator etc)
  • Advanced english.


  • Previous experience in game development, Unity3D and UI Prototyping with After Effects
  • Solid knowledge in UX research methodologies
  • Solid knowledge in video editing software (Premier, After FX)
  • Solid knowledge in 3D modeling software (3D Max, Maia)

QA Analyst


The QA Analyst will be responsible for creating and implementing test plans for a high profile mobile project. You will collaborate and coordinate with peers and senior management to ensure the quality of the final product.


  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Writing and maintaining test cases;
  • Develop and apply testing processes.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  • Liaison with publisher counterparts to ensure guidelines & standards compliance.
  • Manage bug reports, bug database, & QA reports.
  • Build successful working relationships with the team and external partners.


  • Intermediate English (writing)

Backend Programmer


Aquiris is looking for a Backend programmer to join the Porto Alegre team. You will work on the backend technology on the Looney Tunes World of Mayhem game. You will be a crucial member of our engineering team and will help with designing, building, and maintaining systems necessary to allow millions of users to play the game concurrently. You love scaling large systems, automating AWS, designing RESTful APIs, and keeping response times low (sub-100ms). We love engineers who are strong in Java, C#, Python, Google Go, have experience building on AWS, and know their way around its services.

  • Design, architect and implement high-traffic, large-scale web APIs
  • Build infrastructure on top of AWS services: DynamoDB, Cloudformation, RDS, Redis, SQS, Route 53
  • Automate every point of the backend processes
  • BSCS or equivalent working experience, plus a minimum of 3 years working in software development, or similar engineering environment.


  • Strong experience developing data-driven web applications in Java or C#
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software development principles
  • Strong understanding of web-based architecture (web servers, load balancing, caching, databases, replication, etc.)
  • Experience working with RESTful frameworks.
  • Experience working with large amounts of data using SQL and NoSQL (Redis, DynamoDB) databases

Senior Game Designer


Aquiris is searching for a unique talent to join the Porto Alegre team. You will work on Looney Tunes World of Mayhem, a game launched in partnership with Scopely. We are searching for a professional committed to the quality of the product, with vast experience in game development, a deep understanding of the F2P model, system, gameplay mechanics, and that has demonstrated experience balancing F2P games.

  • Structure and maintain game configurations and spreadsheets.
  • Work with programmers, designers and artists to define, plan and iterate on game mechanics that aim to leverage business intelligence goals.
  • Fine tune and balance gameplay systems based in player behavior data and evolution of the game's competitive environment.
  • Document and refine mechanical concepts and product requirements.
  • Write technical documents that effectively convey the objective of a mechanic or configuration to the other members of the team, both internal and external.
  • Contribute to the LiveOps in a dynamic and living game already in the market. Take design decisions backed up by metrics analyzed in the game.


  • A minimum of 5 years as a game designer, with a least 1 launched game.
  • Deep understanding of RPG/Character Collection F2P games.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Extraordinary skills in writing documents in English.
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently express gameplay concepts.
  • Deep knowledge of data structuring and spreadsheet operations.

Lead Concept Artist


We are looking for a talented and motivated Concept Artist with experience in illustration, development of characters and environments, that is extremely creative and has the ability to develop collaborative ideas with the members of the Art Team.


  • Development of characters, scenarios and ideas for various types of games.
  • Development of illustrations with a high level of rendering.
  • Ability to create and express ideas quickly through drafts and speed paint.
  • Work collaboratively with the art team
  • Supervise and direct other members of the art team.
  • Manage and demand tasks from other artists.


  • Experience with concept art, professional drawing and illustration.
  • Solid knowledge of photoshop, composition and painting.
  • Strong experience in academic drawing, perspective, proportions, human figure, anatomy, light, shadow, etc.
  • Able to draw in various styles (Cartoon, Realistic, etc).
  • Able to create and suggest new ideas.
  • Knowledge in animation and storyboarding.
  • At least two years' work experience within the industry.

Level Designer


Aquiris is looking for a rare talent to join the team in Porto Alegre and work on an innovative, unannounced project for the Apple Arcade platform. We are looking for an experienced level designer who is committed to creating a quality product.


  • Work with the Lead Game Designer to establish concrete plans for meeting the project goals.
  • Create written specifications for unique, memorable 3D levels which fluidly combine different gameplay mechanics, such as combat and platforming.
  • Craft the levels in a proprietary tool using the product´s environmental and gameplay assets.


  • Ample portfolio showing the planning, organization and execution of levels for video games. Portfolio can include both professional and amateur projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in Brazilian Portuguese and English.

  • Professional experience in video game development companies.

Aquiris is looking for a Producer to join our team in Porto Alegre. As a producer, you will be leading the development team responsible for the Horizon Chase Franchise, the award-winning arcade racing games with 42 million downloads worldwide on mobile, PC and consoles. You will work closely with the team on planning and generating milestone goals, ensuring the features are delivered on time and on budget, and at the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire development cycle, making sure the communication between areas is flowing optimally.


  • Work collaboratively with the team to clearly define project scope and schedule.
  • Ensure product quality is constantly maintained or improved.
  • Facilitate the collaboration between areas, working to solve any impediment hindering the development progress.
  • Lead planning meetings with cross-functional areas.
  • Manage the team's day-to-day activities and track the development progress.
